Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronze Universel- Bronzing Makeup Base
Hey, girl, HEYYYYYY! (like I haven't been MIA for the past few weeks... cough*)
So, I know I've been completely absent from blogging, but it's summer and I needed to get in some much-needed family time. Sorry lol. I've also been pretty busy with summer school too, so blogging has kind of been put on the back burner.
As some of you may know, (if you follow me on Instagram), I FINALLY bought the infamous Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronze Universel about a month ago. Everyone has heard of this or even owns it by now.
This is a cream bronzer that gives the skin a soft, radiant glow. It has a silky, velvety feel, glides on smoothly, and blends flawlessly.
The texture is very thin, but is pigmented. The coverage is buildable and NEVER cakes. I've even applied it over my set foundation and have found that it doesn't look splotchy. The way I prefer to apply it though, is to use it as a base for contouring, or as an all over bronzer to warm up my skin.
If you have super pale or dark skin, I don't think this would work for you. Sorry, girls. I feel like for the porcelain dolls out there, it might pull too much orange and for my darker girls, it won't show up at all. BUT, if you have a medium skin tone (similar to mine), this would be great! Really the only draw back is the price at $48. But, honestly, I feel like a fancy pants every time this guy comes out. It just breathes luxury!
Above are swatches of the bronzer slightly blended and not blended at all. The finish is also not matte, but more of a slight dewy finish. Overall, I LOVE this! I love how classy the packaging looks and feels, and the actual product is lovely. I hope you all enjoyed this review :)
Let me know if you've tried this OR what other products you like from Chanel.
